Sinterklaas or Santaclaus is the main character of the Sinterklaas party that is celebrated on December 5 in the Netherlands. The character of Sinterklaas is a stately old man with a white beard and hair, red miter and cloak.

Sinterklaas is de hoofdpersoon van het sinterklaasfeest dat op 5 december in Nederland wordt gevierd. Het personage van Sinterklaas is een statige oude man met witte baard en haren, rode mijter en mantel.
